There are many days to take care of in December. From Momo's anniversary, Christmas, and year-end party, I think 2023 will just be over. I tried the course meal prepared by Momo and had a unique experience at a unique restaurant I searched hard for. Actually, we still have a lot of food plans planned, but we have to be even more diligent if we want to go there within this year.

For the end of the year, I've compiled a list of restaurants in Seoul where I made reservations for course meals. It was an opportunity to taste a variety of foods, including menus I tried for the first time.
1. [Yeonnam-dong] StayKist
Romantic course meal
StayKest is a steak restaurant that was selected as the #1 Naver Seoul anniversary date course. The store itself is small, but the atmosphere is quiet and cozy. Maybe that's why there were a lot of couples like us. As I ate each course in a luxurious atmosphere, I felt like I was truly being treated well.
We ate the luxury menu course. Salad, pasta, Korean beef steak, tiramisu, and drinks are all included, so it's a day where you eat until you're full. In particular, the Korean beef steak was even better because you could taste all the ribeye, shrimp meat, and striploin parts. As soon as you take a bite, the juice spreads out. They even wrote lettering on a plate at a restaurant in Seoul, so I asked them to write “I LOVE Momo” haha.
2. [Myeongdong] The Place Dining

The Place Dining is a year-end restaurant in Seoul where you can enjoy a multi-course meal in privacy while enjoying the view of the Han River. As it was our anniversary, Momo prepared a course meal! I heard that if you want to sit by the window, you have to call in advance to make a reservation. I praise Momo for her preparedness. Of course, Super J.
What can I say about the course meal, which starts with applewood smoked ribs, steak, and lobster? It was so delicious. I fell in love with Momo once again as she sliced up a steak and brought it to me for our anniversary. It was a fun day for both the eyes and the mouth as I saw the night view and ate a bite of steak. Since I ate the food in small amounts, I thought my stomach was going to explode when it came out.

3. [Cheongdam Station] Cheongdam Nine

Cheongdam Nine is an Italian restaurant where you can enjoy a meal while enjoying a live jazz performance. There's nothing better than music to create a romantic atmosphere. The performance lasts for two hours, from Thursday to Saturday, from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. The course meal we ordered included an appetizer, a main course of Korean beef striploin steak, and dessert.
I came here expecting to see what a jazz live performance would be like, but after watching it while drinking a glass of wine, I felt like I was really going to be intoxicated by the atmosphere. I'm so happy that I'm eating high-quality Italian food while watching a live performance. In this atmosphere, food becomes twice as delicious. I still can’t forget the taste of a juicy steak.
4. [Gangnam Station] BeunUsual

Beun Usual is a year-end restaurant in Seoul where you can enjoy a unique multi-course meal amidst 3D media art. I went there thinking that the quality would have been guaranteed as it had been featured on several broadcasts such as tvN's Sixth Sense 2 and SBS Live Today. Since it was Momo's birthday, I wanted to create a special and memorable experience. The inside of the restaurant is divided into individual rooms, making it a great place to spend some private time.
The moment media art starts on the white wall and table, a gasp comes out! And it burst out. 3D mapping videos unfolded under five themes, and it felt like I was at a media art exhibition hall. It is said that the course menu changes periodically, but we enjoyed being able to taste unique foods that we had never tried before, such as grilled pork tenderloin, amuse bouche, squid and watermelon cold salad. It was on this day that I realized why people go out to eat multi-course meals.

5. [Munjeong Station] Cucinadi Casa Munjeong Branch
The taste, price, and atmosphere are great.
Cucina di Casa Munjeong branch is a restaurant specializing in Italian home-style food that is brightly lit through large windows. First of all, the wide open feeling I felt as soon as I entered gave me the stamp of acceptance. Perhaps because it is decorated with plants everywhere, it has a really comfortable atmosphere.
There were many different types of steak, including bone-in sirloin steak, sous vide whole pork steak, and chop steak, so it took a while to choose. The bone-in sirloin steak (37,000 won) that I painstakingly chose had a soft texture that melted in my mouth, so I put it all in my mouth until the last bite. Shrimp Rose Pasta (KRW 17,900) with plump shrimp rolls up on a fork and pops into Momo's mouth.
6. [Seongsu-dong] Seongsu Rooftop

Seongsu Rooftop is a casual Seoul year-end restaurant where you can enjoy wine on a warm rooftop with a nice atmosphere. You might be wondering what a rooftop is all about in this cold weather these days, but the rooftop at Seongsu Rooftop is different. There are warm, transparent windows so you can enjoy the outdoor atmosphere even in winter. They provided a fan so I could write lettering on the wine glass, so I wrote 'Goodbye 2023' to coincide with the end of the year.
For food, I ordered sous vide ribs (22,000 won) and basil pesto pasta (19,000 won). The rib meat cooked sous vide for 16 hours was soft and chewy. The plump shrimp in the basil pesto pasta were also delicious. You need to put the pasta noodles soaked in sauce and the shrimp in one bite. Momo and Cheers are wrapping up the remaining year of 2023.
