1st anniversary date course, the most special day
It's already been one year since I met my lover. Time passed really quickly. I wanted to make this day more special than any other day. So, we decided to have a meal at a nice place and take some commemorative photos. But this wasn't enough. So, I looked into how I could make my first anniversary date more romantic and special.

Dine at a special place on a special day
01. Be Unusual / Seonjeongneung Station
I wanted to eat somewhere special today. So, rather than regular fine dining, I made a reservation for Non-Usual where we could enjoy 3D media art. Parking was available, so I took the car. As soon as I entered, I felt like I was at an exhibition as a constantly changing 3D mapping video was displayed on the white walls and tables. At one point it felt like I was surrounded by a flower field, and at another time I was deep in a forest. My girlfriend said she was so pretty and she kept asking me to take pictures of her even before the food was served. We booked a one-table room so we were able to take a lot of photos without being noticed.
Restaurants that are pretty or have a great view often don't taste that good. This is a place that really cares about its food. Not only the color and visuals, but also the taste was fantastic. From appetizers to mains and desserts, not a single menu item disappointed. It's full of flavor and I fell in love with the luxurious taste. I think the most important thing for a 1st anniversary date is the restaurant. I think it was a successful choice. It is said that the dishes that make up the course change periodically, so you can try something different next time. So, I decided to visit with my lover next time.
This is the Seradyu pottery workshop that I went to because I wanted to remember this special day. It's also a hot workshop that many of her girlfriend's favorite celebrities have visited. The atmosphere was great as music played softly in a spacious and comfortable space. It was also fun to look at pottery that was already made. On this day, we decided to make couple pottery and cups to commemorate our one-year anniversary date. It is a unique and meaningful couple item. Pottery was made by hand building without the need to use a potter's wheel, so it was easy to make. I painted it the color I wanted and engraved today's date on it.
The drawing cup was a simple task that was completed by just drawing and coloring it beautifully on paper and then printing it. We decided to draw each other's faces. I think I was very focused on drawing something that my girlfriend would like. The finished picture was printed after fixing the paper to the prepared cup. I think it only took 5-10 minutes. It was nice to be able to take the picture cup right away. However, I was told that pottery needs to be fired in a kiln, so it takes 2-3 weeks. Still, I think I can wait with excitement. It was the perfect time to spend our first anniversary date.
As I worked hard making pottery, I quickly became hungry. So I went to Trianon, where I could taste lots of sweet desserts. This is Cheongdam Cafe, which has afternoon tea sets. I heard that the afternoon tea set is very popular, so I made a reservation in advance and went there. The interior was antique and old-fashioned, making it feel like only princesses would go there. In particular, red curtains were hung on the outdoor terrace. If the weather had been warm, I think I would have sat here and eaten. It was a space that was sure to capture my girlfriend’s heart.
The after noon tea set had a variety of items, from desserts to sandwiches, making it a good choice for brunch. I was worried about what to eat first, but the staff kindly explained the order and types of food. I took a lot of pictures with my girlfriend before eating. It was so big and colorful that the photos came out well. Since it was cheaper than other afternoon tea cafes, I was worried that it would be pretty and tasteless, but every single thing was delicious. However, there was a lot of food so it was difficult to eat it all. Fortunately, it was available for packaging, so I took it in a paper bag.
The final course to conclude the one-year anniversary date is to take a couple photo. I visited Self Studio Seek because I wanted to take pictures with various concepts rather than taking pictures in front of a monochromatic background. Unlike a typical self-studio, the 2nd and 3rd floors were all very spacious studio spaces. Our couple chose a 20-minute self-photo session. Up to three concept rooms can be used during this time, so we filmed in the Beauty, Newtro, and Heaven rooms. My girlfriend took really good photos, so I took a few by myself.
We dressed up in white t-shirts to take couple photos. The Beauty Room, which is lit with bright outdoor light, has a pure and clean feel, and the white T-shirt goes really well with it. I think wearing bright colored clothes looks best when taking pictures. The Newtro room was a perfect fit for my taste. There was a sophisticated and chic atmosphere and a cool car, so it felt like I was taking a photo shoot. I don't usually enjoy taking pictures, but here I found myself posing and taking pictures naturally. I think I was able to film more comfortably because it was my own studio. Thanks to you, I was able to get a natural and special 1st anniversary couple photo.
So far, we have introduced the 1st anniversary date course. I was able to spend quality time with my lover on a special date that was different from usual.
